Day 1: Arrival in Jammu
Our representative will meet you at Jammu Airport or Railway station. Proceed by road from airport or railway station in a comfortable private vehicle to your pre-booked hotel in Katra. Complete check-in formalities and obtain your Yatra registration card. Get ready for your Yatra.
Day 2: Darshan of Mata Vaishno Devi Trek
Begin your day very early in the morning with a pick up from your hotel to Banganga checkpoint and start the spiritual trek of 13 km from here to reach the Bhawan, the holy shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi. (Pony ride, Palki ride and helicopter facility are available locally on payment basis). Take blessings from the goddess and visit the nearby Bhairon Nath temple. Descend from here and come back to your hotel.
Day 3: Trip from Katra to Srinagar by Road
Morning breakfast at the hotel and then proceed for check out. The next destination is Srinagar, where you will be taken via the fascinating experience of crossing the world-renowned Chenani Nashri Tunnel and passing the rivers flowing through the mountains. Proceed to your lakeside accommodation at Srinagar in the early afternoon and check in. You have the chance to take an extremely relaxed 1-hour tour on the Dal Lake via the shikara boat in the evening time.
Day 4: Full-Day Tour from Srinagar to Sonamarg
Your day will begin with a wonderful breakfast on the boat. From there, your full-day tour to Sonamarg (Meadow of Gold) starts. Take the beautiful scenic tour along the Sindhu River and the snow-covered mountains on both sides. Visit Sonamarg and view the fascinating Thajiwas Glacier Trail via the ponies. Later return to Srinagar and check into the premium hotel.
Day 5: Srinagar to Gulmarg Alpine Tour
Enjoy breakfast and proceed to the famous alpine resort of Gulmarg. Ride the world-famous Gulmarg Gondola which is the highest cable car system in Asia. It takes you up the snow-capped peaks of Apharwat. Stroll in the huge green pastures or take some beautiful landscape shots.
Day 6: Srinagar to Pahalgam Valley Transfer
Enjoy breakfast and transfer to Pahalgam (The Valley of Shepherds). On the way to Pahalgam, stop at the ruins of Avantipur temple and pass by the aromatic saffron pastures. Get to Pahalgam and check into the valley resort. Stroll along the swiftly flowing Lidder River.
Day 7: Exploration of Pahalgam Valley & Return Journey to Srinagar
Relish a full breakfast amidst the Rocky Mountains range. Take a union vehicle to explore the well-known Betaab Valley, Aru Valley and Chandanwari points. Postnoon, check out and return to Srinagar. Get checked in to your Srinagar hotel and spend the last evening shopping for genuine saffron of Kashmir, walnuts and beautiful pashmina shawls.
Day 8: Exploring Historic Mughal Gardens & Return
Relish the last breakfast in your hotel room and check out from the same. Visit the grand terraced gardens, pavilion stones and historic fountains of Royal Mughal Gardens like Nishat Bagh and Shalimar Bagh. Go straight to the Srinagar Airport for your return journey home.
