Day 1: Arrival in Delhi
Your representative will be there at Delhi International Airport (IGI) or the train station for your transfer to the hotel of your choice. It is a direct transfer by private air-conditioned car. Check in at the hotel and then have some leisure time. The evening will see you take a sightseeing drive to see the beautiful illuminated India Gate and Connaught Place.
Day 2: Old Delhi Heritage Exploration
This day starts after enjoying a tasty breakfast at your hotel. Go see the beautiful Jama Masjid that is considered to be one of the largest mosques in all of India. Get on a rickshaw and drive around the busy roads of Chandni Chowk market. See the massive Red Fort that was built of red sandstone.
Day 3: New Delhi Monuments
Have breakfast at the hotel premises and then begin to explore the royal side of the city. Get amazed by Qutub Minar, the tallest brick minaret in the world. See Humayun’s Tomb, the splendidly designed garden tomb which served as an inspiration for the creation of Taj Mahal. Drive through the long Rajpath road to take photographs of the President’s House and Parliament House. Take a walk through the green landscapes of Lodhi Gardens.
Day 4: Modern Landmarks
After having breakfast in the morning, head to the Lotus Temple, which is built of white marble. In the afternoon, you will be able to experience the immense Swaminarayan Akshardham Temple Complex. Observe the large stone sculptures and go through the cultural exhibitions present in the garden. Complete your trip for the day by going shopping and eating at Khan Market or Dilli Haat Crafts Market.
Day 5: Final Sightseeing
Have your final breakfast at the hotel before departure from here. In case you are free, you can go and see the peaceful Bangla Sahib Gurudwara or the Agrasen Ki Baoli Step Well. You must pack up all of your luggage and depart without difficulty to reach the Delhi airport/railway station.
