Day 1: Arrival in Kochi and Drive to Munnar
Your trip starts from the moment that you land in the airport or train station of Kochi where our staff members will pick you up and take you to Munnar. You are free to make any stops during your journey to see the beautiful Cheeyappara and Valara Waterfalls. Once you reach Munnar, check into the hotel and enjoy your night viewing the green hills.
Day 2: Exploring the Green Hills of Munnar
You will visit Eravikulam National Park today. You will have an opportunity to observe the rare Nilgiri Tahr mountain goat. Today, after you visit the well-known Tata Tea Museum. Where you will learn about the processing of tea leaves by workers, you will be taken to Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, and Kundala Lake for amazing views and boating.
Day 3: The Forest Wilds of Thekkady
After having your breakfast and checking out of your hotel. You will head to Thekkady for a ride which will take around four hours passing through spice plantations. Relax at the hotel and get ready for an adventurous afternoon when you will have the opportunity to enjoy a ride on the boat in Periyar Lake, located inside the National Park. You will have the opportunity to view wild elephants and exotic birds here. In the evenings, you will be able to visit the local market and purchase cardamom, pepper, and cinnamon.
Day 4: Houseboat Cruise in Alleppey
Today, you head to Alleppey, which is famous for its massive network of calm canals. You will check into a traditional Kerala houseboat around noon. The boat will glide past green paddy fields, coconut trees, and tiny villages. Our onboard cook will prepare authentic local meals for your lunch and dinner.
Day 5: Departure from Kochi
Relaxing and having your breakfast on water while being brought back to the docking place would be an amazing experience. Check out of the houseboat and go back to Kochi via road. In case there is time left, some last-minute shopping or a visit to the Chinese fishing nets could be considered. Then, you will be dropped off at the airport/station for departure.
