Day 1: Arrival at Cochin
The driver will collect you from the airport or railway station and drop you at the hotel. After completing your check-in process, you can go to Fort Kochi and visit the Chinese fishing nets and the Dutch palace.
Day 2: From Cochin to Munnar
Move up into the hills to head towards Munnar. On the way, you will stop by to capture photographs of Cheeyappara and Valara waterfalls. Reach the resort and enjoy the cold mountain air.
Day 3: Exploring Munnar
At the dawn of the day, head for Eravikulam National Park and watch the endangered animals like the Nilgiri Tahr. Come back to the hotel in the late part of the day and visit the Tea Museum, Mattupetty Dam and Echo Point.
Day 4: Munnar to Thekkady
By following the twisting roads, one can visit the center of spices. Visitors may have a walking tour in a spice plantation and be trained on how to grow pepper and cardamom. Afterward, visitors will have an interesting boat cruise in the Periyar Lake and watch wild elephants.
Day 5: Thekkady to Alleppey Houseboat
It is necessary to travel to the plains and to board a private houseboat before lunch time. Tourists will be able to explore the serene backwaters and pass by some villages. Authentic Indian meals will be served freshly aboard. Spend a night on a boat.
Day 6: Alleppey to Kovalam
Leave the boat in the morning and start moving south. Reach your beach resort in Kovalam. Have an afternoon walk along the beach and spend an evening having dinner in the beach café.
Day 7: Kovalam Beach Day
This is a full-day relaxation program. Have fun on the beach by swimming in the ocean and enjoying the sun. Visit a famous Kovalam lighthouse for amazing views or order an Ayurvedic massage. Watch the sunset from the beach.
Day 8: Leave Trivandrum
After breakfast check out from your hotel. Go to Trivandrum Airport or Railway Station for your next journey. Take home memories of your Kerala holiday and we hope to welcome you to Kerala again soon.
